Finding the Best Route Users can expect multiple routing suggestions tailored to their chosen mode of transport, whether it's the Tube, London Overground, Elizabeth Line, DLR, Tram, National Rail, the IFS Cloud Cable Car, or even cycling and walking routes. This flexibility empowers individuals to select the option that best fits their preferences.

Real-Time Travel Information The app provides live arrival times for a range of transport services, including buses, the Tube, and various rail lines. Additionally, users can monitor the live status of all TfL lines and stations directly through the map or review current disruptions in the “Status” section.

Accessibility Features TfL Go enhances travel planning by offering personalized options that accommodate specific needs, such as step-free journeys and routes that avoid stairs or escalators. Journey plans are adaptive, reflecting the current accessibility status of stations to minimize inconvenience. Furthermore, features like TalkBack support and adjustable text sizes contribute to its overall accessibility.

Payment Management The app enables users to efficiently manage their travel payments by creating an account. From topping up pay-as-you-go credit to purchasing Travelcards for their Oyster card, all payment history is easily accessible for both Oyster and contactless cards linked to the account.

Note: Access to Oyster and contactless accounts is currently limited to users located within the UK or Europe.

Understanding Station Facilities Users can check real-time station occupancy levels and determine available amenities such as toilets and Wi-Fi access. Detailed insights about station accessibility features—covering platform gap width, step height, and boarding methods—are also provided.
